Effective March 30, European discount airline Ryanair begins non-stop roundtrip flights to Bari and Brindisi from Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport during the spring, summer and fall tourism seasons. The new flights were announced by the airline last fall as part of an expansion of its domestic and international service out of Bologna.

Service to Aeroporto Internazionale Karol Wojtyla in Bari will operate seven days a week through October 24. The daily flight departs Bologna at 6:30 A.M. and arrives in Bari at 7:50. The return flight leaves Bari at 8:15 A.M. and arrives in Bologna at 9:35.

To Aeroporto del Salento in Brindisi, service is available each Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday through October 23. The flight departs Bologna at 8:05 P.M. and arrives in Brindisi at 9:35 P.M. The return flight departs Brindisi at 10 P.M. and reaches Bologna at 11:30.
